Do you know what the "Skin Cycling" method is?

Do you know what the "skin cycling" method is? It is a nighttime skincare routine that lasts four nights, during which active ingredients such as Retinol, Fruit Acids, and mild ingredients that strengthen the skin barrier are used alternately.

The procedure is as follows:

Evening: 1 Exfoliation

Evening: 2 Retinol

Evening: 3 Renaissance

Evening: 4 Recovery

Repetition.....

Skin cycling essentially involves alternating steps in the nighttime skincare routine (and not the morning one) with the aim of properly applying active ingredients so that they are properly absorbed by the skin while also helping to avoid irritation from excessive use of certain products.

 

1st Evening: Exfoliation

Use a gentle peel with AHA and BHA to prepare the skin for the care that will follow.

 

2nd Night: Retinol

Retinol is considered one of the most powerful ingredients included in the skin cycling routine. It has the power to make the skin more even and smooth by eliminating wrinkles and hyperpigmentation.

Important : When using fruit acids and retinol you should always wear high SPF50 sunscreen during the day.

 

 

3rd Evening: Regeneration

Take a break from intensive treatments. This is the day for rest and relaxation, so that we can protect the skin barrier and restore it.

General rule: Every 4 days, cleanse the skin as usual in the morning and evening, then follow with a moisturizer.

 

 

4th Evening: Restoration

Ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, ceramides and glycerin are best suited for "restoration nights" before starting the next treatment cycle on the fifth night.

Through this process of "recycling" the ingredients, their correct application takes place, so that they are properly absorbed by the skin.
