100gr Raw Cocoa Butter 50gr Shea Butter 50gr Coconut Oil 33ml Jojoba Oil 5 to 10 Drops Grapefruit Essential Oil 5 to 10 Drops Lavender Essential Oil
1. Melt the Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter and Jojoba Oil in a double boiler. Be careful that the bowl does not touch the water. Remove from heat and let cool.
2. Before it solidifies, add the essential oils and then place the mixture in the refrigerator to cool.
3. Wait until the oils begin to partially solidify. Then beat with a hand mixer until you achieve a light, creamy texture.
4. Place in a clean, glass jar. ~ Good Luck ~
* The body butter melts as it is applied to the body and feels slightly greasy at first, but it absorbs quickly and leaves the skin silky. The oils and butters are completely absorbed by the skin.
* If you want to achieve extra moisture and hydration , apply the body butter while the skin is still damp from the shower. * Store the body butter in a cool place. If you need to make it fluffy again, you can simply beat it again with the mixer. * Citrus essential oils can cause photosensitivity. Therefore, we do not recommend using them if you plan to be exposed to direct sunlight after topical application. Pure essential oils are very strong and this is why they carry a photosensitivity warning.
